How do I repair a damaged PDF?

  1. Choose the damaged PDF.
  2. Press “Repair PDF”: several methods are tried one after another.
  3. Download the repaired version.

An interrupted download, a badly transmitted attachment or a USB stick removed too soon can damage a PDF. Often the pages are still there: only the table that references them is broken.

Can every PDF be repaired?

No: if the data of the pages themselves is lost, nothing can recreate it. In that case, ask the sender for a new copy.
