How do I prepare my rental application as a PDF?

  1. Choose all your documents (PDF). Photos? Convert them first with Photo to PDF.
  2. Put them in order: identity, employment status, income, address.
  3. Press “Merge”, then add a watermark with “What next?”.

Letting agencies and landlords appreciate a complete application in a single file. Recommended order: ID document, proof of employment status (contract, employer's certificate), last three payslips, latest tax notice, proof of current address. The list of documents a landlord can ask for is set by law (decree of 5 November 2015).

Once the application is put together, add a watermark such as “Rental application, agency X, September 2026”: it limits fraudulent reuse of your documents. Then reduce the size if the agency's website requires it.
