How do I edit a PDF?

  1. Choose your PDF: the first page appears.
  2. Choose a tool (text, image, box, highlighter, white-out, drawing), then tap the page.
  3. Press “Save edited PDF”, then download it.

Completing a document that has no fields to fill in, correcting a date, adding the words “Lu et approuvé” (read and approved), highlighting an important clause or adding your company logo: the Edit tool does all this right on the page.

Each added item can be moved with your fingertip and resized from its corner. The original document is kept as it is underneath: existing text stays sharp and selectable.

To permanently hide confidential information (a number, a name), use the Redact tool instead: it really removes the hidden text. As always on TwoDocument, your PDF never leaves your device.

Frequently asked questions

Can I edit the text already written in the PDF?

You can cover it with the “White-out” tool, then type the new text over it. A PDF's original text cannot be rewritten as in a word processor; for that, convert it to Word.

How do I add an image or a logo?

Tap “Image” and choose your file: it is placed in the middle of the page; move it, then drag its corner to adjust it.

Does white-out really remove the information?

No, it only hides it from view. To remove information for good, use the Redact tool.

Is my document uploaded online?

No, all edits are made in your browser.
