How do I crop a PDF?

  1. Choose your PDF: the first page appears with a frame.
  2. Move the corners of the frame, or tap “Automatic margins”.
  3. Press “Crop PDF”, then download it.

A scan taken too wide, a document with huge margins that looks tiny on a phone, an advertising banner at the top of the page: crop it to keep only what matters.

The “Automatic margins” button detects the page content and places the frame right around it. You can apply the crop to every page or only to the one shown.

Cropping does not reduce the quality: the text stays sharp and selectable. And your document never leaves your device.

Frequently asked questions

Is the cut-off part deleted?

It is hidden by the crop frame, as PDF software does. To permanently remove information, use the Redact tool.

Can I crop a single page?

Yes, tick “Only the page shown” before saving.

Does the quality change?

No, the content is kept exactly as it is.

Is my PDF uploaded online?

No, everything happens in your browser.
