How do I add an image or logo to a PDF?

  1. Choose your PDF: the first page appears.
  2. Go to the right page with the arrows, tap “Image” and choose your file (logo, stamp, photo).
  3. Drag the image into place, pull its corner to adjust it, then press “Save edited PDF”.

The image is placed in the centre of the page; drag it wherever you want, then pull its corner to enlarge or shrink it: its proportions are kept. You can add several images, on several pages, and add text, a box or highlighting as well.

A logo or stamp with a transparent background (PNG) keeps its transparency: only the drawing appears on the page. A JPG photo, on the other hand, is shown with its background, since this format has no transparency. For a “Paid” or “Received” stamp, a PNG image gives the cleanest result.

To sign, use the Sign tool instead: it lets you draw your signature or import a photo of it, and place it on every page at once. The original document stays intact under the image: its text remains sharp and selectable. Your PDF and your images don't leave your device.

Frequently asked questions

Which image formats can I add?

Those your browser can read: JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC with Safari 17 or later. Large images are reduced to 1,600 pixels per side, more than enough for a logo or a stamp.

Can I put the same logo on every page?

The image is placed page by page: add it to each page you want. To put the same wording on every page in one go, the Watermark tool adds text everywhere.

Does an image placed over text delete it?

No, it hides it on screen and in print, but the text stays in the file. To remove information, use the Redact tool.

Is my document uploaded online?

No, the image is added by your browser, on your device.
