Who makes TwoDocument

TwoDocument is an independent service, designed and published in France by a sole trader. The publisher's identity is given in the legal notice. The business registration is under way: the missing information will be published there as soon as it is complete, and no paid plan will open until then.

Why this site exists

For a rental application, a benefits claim or a job application, you often need to shrink a file, combine two files or add a signature. To do this, many people upload their ID, payslips or lease to a site they don't know.

These documents don't need to travel for that. Today's browsers can do this processing themselves, on your phone or computer. TwoDocument builds on this: your files stay with you.

Our commitments

Your files are processed on your device and are never uploaded, neither to TwoDocument nor to anyone else.

No ads, no advertising trackers, no data sold.

An account is optional: every tool works without signing up.

The only thing sent automatically is an anonymous counter: the page viewed or the tool used, per day. It uses no cookies, does not record your IP address and contains nothing from your files.

How the site is funded

By the people who use it a lot: a Premium subscription with no commitment (€3.99 a month or €29.99 a year) and a 24-hour pass (€1.99) for one-off paperwork. The free plan will keep 3 documents a day, without an account.

These plans are not open yet: during the launch, everything is free and unlimited. No ads and no selling of data: subscribers are the ones who will keep the service going.

Check for yourself

You don't have to take our word for it. Open a tool, then switch to airplane mode: it keeps working. On a computer, your browser's Network tab shows that nothing sent contains your file. The “Privacy proof” page explains these tests step by step.

The libraries that do the work (Mozilla's PDF.js, pdf-lib, QPDF, Tesseract.js and others) are open source: their code is public.
